Steeped in the fog of Canada's most easterly point, on an island surrounded by the roaring Atlantic Ocean and enveloped by the darkness of dense, sprawling woods, FOGFEST was born; an independent horror film festival in one of the oldest and spookiest cities in North America—St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Founded in 2021 by GRIND MIND, this year's festival expands with FIVE nights of screenings at the historic Majestic Theatre, as well as pop-up events and workshops in the heart of the city's downtown. FOGFEST IV aims to showcase the next wave of genre creators from the island and around the world. Packed with screenings & events (Drag shows! Punk Rock! Vendors!) we're bringing an experience for horror filmmakers and fans to connect and celebrate the culture and creatures that make us who we are.
